Can I bring more than six people? – Only six individuals are allowed in the pool at any given time. Spectators will not be permitted to enter the water. Should they enter, we reserve the right to cancel the booking with immediate effect.
Do I need to book or can I drop in? A booking is required as there are limited time slots available each day. You cannot drop in for a session. This will not be accommodated.
Can I book longer than one hour or multiple time slots? – Yes, a booking can be longer than one hour. A non-refundable deposit may be taken to secure a large block booking.
What happens if I am late? – If you are over 15 minutes late without contact, your booking will be cancelled. We have no facility for bookings to run outside their allocated time. Repeat lateness or cancellation of bookings at the last minute may result in refusal of future bookings.
Can I bring electronics into the pool? – MB Hydropool LTD takes no responsibility for the damage of electronics, or the injury they may cause when they are in contact with water. You may face charges should damage occur to facilities due to the use of electronic devices such as mobile phones.
Can I bring food and drink? – Water is provided as part of your booking. No other food and beverages can enter the pool area. Any food or drink spilt or dropped in the pool will result in a cleaning fee and cancelation of future bookings.
Do I have to bring my own towels? Yes, as well as suitable swimwear and personal hygiene products.
Do I have to bring swim nappies? – All babies, children and adults who are not toilet trained are required to wear a suitable swim nappy underneath their swimwear. This is to prevent soiling of the swimming pool. Should this occur MB Hydropool Ltd reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee, as well as cancellation of and refusal of future bookings. All swim nappies must be taken with you when you leave the pool. MB Hydropool Ltd does not have the disposal facilities for these.
Can the pool be booked for a celebration/party? – MB Hydropool LTD is located within a private residence and is not a leisure centre or party venue. The facilities are for swimming and therapy use only.
Can I bring toys for my children to use in the pool? Toys and additional novelty floaties are not allowed in the pool area, only swimming aids such as floats, armbands, woggles etc are allowed in the pool.
Can my child swim alone? – Only under your direct adult supervision and only if your child is a competent swimmer, please refer to our terms and conditions regarding Adult:Child ratio. If you child is a non-competent swimmer or a beginner and you chose to abandon your child in the water, MB Hydropool LTD takes no responsibility for injury or death.
Do you provide swim classes or therapy instructors? – We do not, but should you require these services we can provide contact information of physiotherapists, personal trainers etc who use our pool. We cannot guarantee the additional cost of their services or the quality of your experience.
Can I book the pool and bring my own instructor or therapist? MB Hydropool LTD does not accept individuals booking the pool in such a way, as instructor or therapist need to provide proof of insurance or public liability to offer services at our facility.
Can I book the pool and offer swim classes? – Instructors may book the pool and bring clients only if they have agreed a contract between themselves and MB Hydropool LTD. All private instructors must provide proof of insurance, public liability, and qualifications as an instructor.
Are the facilities disabled friendly? MB Hydropool Ltd does have use of a seat which can help lower and raise someone with a disability into the pool. This would be operated by a MB Hydropool Ltd member of staff. The changing rooms are wheelchair accessible and do have a walk-in shower, but they don’t provide suitable plinths / shower chairs / toilet handrails for certain disabilities / wheelchair users.
Can I bring my support animal? – Yes, we welcome all registered support animal, however they will need to be secured on a leash or in a pen and will not be able to enter the water. All fouling from support animals will incur a cleaning charge.
